There, he worked as both a graduate instructor of Introductory and Advanced College Composition and as an Associate Editor for Texas Tech’s award-winning graduate literary journal, Iron Horse Literary Review. Now, he teaches 9th-grade English and Creative Writing in the DFW area and offers private reading and writing tutoring for grades 5-12. A recent Best of the Net anthology nominee, Jak’s poems have been published in Roanoke Review, The Citron Review, Radar Poetry, Inklette, Chautauqua, The Dillydoun Review, and The Writer’s Foundry Review.
